baby is 8 lbs 3 oz roughly. 14 days left from the day of that measurement...dr says about a half pound per week so we can expect him to be a little over or a little under 9 lbs. taking all of the NB back to the stores lololol

He might actually not be that big. The weight scans aren't always accurate
but I feel every bit of it. he's so big.
i still have some I'm just not going as overboard because I only bought our newborn brand new. we still have some. :)
I wouldn't take everything back. My son was 9 lbs even when he was born and still wore newborn clothes for a couple days. 0-3 was too big
At 38 weeks my baby was an estimated 7lbs 14 oz and he was 9 lbs even at birth. No newborn stuff for us! Haha
everyone including my drs said I was going to have a 9 pound baby being diabetic so I never bought newborn size...3 days before I had her 38 weeks I had an ultrasound and was told she's over 8 pounds...she was born at 6 pounds 13 ounces...husband had to go shopping lol.
I wouldn't take them back yet. My son was over 8 lb and stayed in nb for over 5 weeks 😲 Baby could be shaped differently and fit them or not. Anyway 9 lb good luck!
@zombiemombie, they said they can be up to a pound off but I think it's more than that. At 35w they told me baby weighed 6 lbs 14 oz and they have told me to expect a 9 lb baby. Lol idk if it will happen or not but I keep seeing stories where baby was a lot less than what doctors thought plus babies lose some weight the first few days. My older daughter went from 7 lbs 12oz at birth to 7lbs1oz when I left the hospital.

there's always a chance of plus or minus the doctor said. i know they aren't 100% but he was measuring 6 at 33 weeks. so I don't doubt it.
