Did anyone start their induction with a pill first? How long did you labor or make progress?

I did. My induction was Monday and they started me with the pill since I was only at a 1. The one pill instantly worked and started my contractions every 2 minutes after 8 hours of that and a tun of walking I was still at 1 so they have me another pill and then the painfull contractions started I swore I would have her soon after that but no another 8 hours and I was still at 1. So they then stated the patossin and after all that and a total of 24 hours o was still at 1 I was so frustrated and my doctor recommend a c section and we went head and did that. Now my baby girl is here. It's want s bad as I thought it would be so if anything happens and you have to have a c section everything will be okay. Praying for you be hoping baby will come fast!
No, I was there the whole time. They just kept trying different stuff. I actually didnt get to go home until Saturday afternoon.
I was induced and was in labor for 13 hours and pushed for 1 hour. if you want drugs for the pain other than the epidural try to stay away from stadol, it makes you hallucinate really bad.
@vaneessaxx, everyone's body is different though today they said I wasn't really dilated but my doctor said last week I was 2 and she swept my membrane I was also only 50% effaced 😞
Being induced is not that bad I promise!😁 it's just a longer process. I wasn't dialated any her head was really low and 80% effaced, I spent 15 hours in labor and pushed for 20 minutes and she was out :)
Yes, it didnt do anything for me. My induction started Monday at 615 pm. I had him Thursday at 159 pm.
I did it didn't work for me so I was in labor for 2 days
