Ok...so I found out I was expecting April 27th. Totally didn't think I was pregnant! I went off birth control because I was having major skin issues on my face and was diagnosed with rosasia. I am O- blood type so is my twin sister and my twin cousin....my sister lost triplets about 6 years ago. My cousin lost her baby a month ago. I have my first doctors appointment on the 7th...needless to say I'm very scared (this makes me tear up just writing this) I'm scared they won't find a heartbeat (like my cousins) or somethings wrong. I know *positive thoughts* but I can't help but freak out. I'm excited and still in disbelief. My boyfriend and I were planning on getting engaged this fall and my entire family is giving me a hard time about not being married but here I am just trying to keep it together....

May I ask if they ever knew the cause of why your family members weren't able to carry to term? I have O- blood and so do 2 of my sisters. Both of my sisters have experienced at least 1 miscarriage but it was not due to their blood type. Just be strong and know that whatever happens, it's the plan for you and your family!
All you can do is stay positive as well as stress is not good just always hope for the best

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...

I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?

But since last two days am not having good feeling....I just feel something is wrong inside wid d kid...all my symptoms r too less
Morning sickness is gone....Metallic taste of my tounge is also less....and I feel pain in my abdoman twice or thrice which is very minor though

Trigger. Lost baby
Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week. I don't want to do this. I don't want to do this. Not before Christmas. How am I'm going to tell my kids?? My dear sweet baby boy. Why did this happen?
Keep positive. Ask your ob if you need the rhogam shot since you have a negative blood type. I am A- and with both of my pregnancies, I needed the rhogam shots. Basically when you have a neg blood type, there is a higher risk of miscarriage if your baby has a positive blood type. Your body thinks it is an infection or something that shouldn't be in your body and starts attacking it (like when you are sick), therefore causing a miscarriage. The rhogam shots trick your body into thinking the baby has the same blood type and therefore prevents the miscarriage for that reason. With my first, I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary, but my ob gave me the shot (you get one at the beginning of the 1st and 3rd trimesters and possibly after you deliver depending on the baby's blood type). With my second pregnancy, my first appointment was at 8 weeks with the ob and at 6-7 weeks with the nurse. The day of my appointment with the nurse, I started bleeding heavily (like 2nd day period bleeding) so I immediately went in to the doctors and the nurse sent me to L&D to get a vaginal ultrasound to see if there was a heartbeat, even though at 6-7 weeks there is only a 50/50 chance of even seeing a heartbeat even with a healthy pregnancy. Thankfully my cervix was thick and closed and they found the heartbeat. But they still told me that I had a threatened miscarriage because of the amount that I was bleeding. Long story short, they gave me the rhogam shot and my bleeding stopped and I was able to carry my little girl to term with no other complications. So my advice is to ask your ob about the rhogam shot and try to stay positive :-) good luck mamas!
