so I did some research on membrane sweeps, and now that I know what it is im pretty pissed that my Dr. did that without my permission. that cant be legal.. I was trying so hard to avoid anything that would induce labor because I wanted my daughter to come when she was ready. im only 38 pregnant wtf.

@number321, I think the problem is more that she didn't consent to doing it
membrane sweep doesn't mean instant labor. I had mines swept around that time and still walked around dilated at 3 centimeters for over 2 weeks before labor started

Try finding the number to corporate and speak to them. You have to go above hospital to get anything done nowadays.
I would be going in and saying something to the head of the hospital or clinic.... that's something that shouldn't be done without consent
