Booked in for a 4D scan this Saturday. I'll be 27 weeks and I have an anterior placenta. Has anyone else had one around this time or had one with an anterior placenta? Can you post your pictures on here? 🙂 thank you! Xx

@mich77, than you! I'm hoping the pictures I get will be clear. This is my son at 28 weeks. Placenta was at the back and the picture is so clear! Can even see his eyes open... He looked exactly like this when he was born xx

I've got an anterior placenta and had a 4d scan at 16 weeks so yours will be way better but here's mine.....

@jodieiokie, there my two scans my one at 11 weeks and 5 days and the other at 20 weeks and 6 days just looking forward to the next scan really :)

Even my 20 week scan was unclear so I'm not going to hold my breath. I'll be sure to post my pictures on here so you can all see! Fingers crossed she lets us see her face properly! I had one for my sons pregnancy at 28 weeks and it was so clear! So it'd be nice to have good pics of her too xx @dannielle1996

ive got one coming up but all my scans ive had through my first pregnancy the second one for my 20 week one i had to move twice as she couldnt get a clear angle, but she managed to get a decent photo and the copies i got were clear 😍 @jodieiokie

@mrsmowmow, you've not attached the picture hunni. There's a lot of posts online saying they struggled to get a clear shot of baby as the placenta was in the way. Worried about wasting money :( xx
Anterior placenta? I found out yesterday, at my 20 week scan, that I have an anterior placenta and won't feel my baby kick as much due to it. Not until late pregnancy. Anyone else have the same thing? If so, when did you feel your baby kick?

So a girl I know has just told me if you have an anterior placenta you need to have a c-section?? She has an anterior placenta and she's been told she's to get a c-section...I have an anterior placenta too so I'm curious as to how true this is because I've not heard anything about it from my midwife.

This was my 4d scan with anterior placenta. They advised me that 28 weeks was best time, it was harder to get good shots than with my first baby( with normal placenta) but the sonograper was lovely, took her time and had me moving about ALOT to get her best shot. Have good photos as you can see but not as good as 1st baby- still worth the money 👍🏻@jodieiokie
