My feet hurt. I was rubbing my ankle/heel and my mum saw and flipped her shit. she told me not to rub or massage in that area because it has pressure points that can bring on contractions and miscarriage. Something to do with reflexology and what not. Is my mum a hippy or is this real?
@kenitra, I was almost 10 weeks when I got a full body maternity massage. She didn't touch my ankles but she did massage my feet. A lot of places have maternity massages, but some don't, just have to find the right specialists :)
not true I go to the chiropractor once a week to have my back worked on and my husband has been massaging my feet since day one. idk everyone is different and I got the OK from my OBG for the chiropractor for back pains
@kenitra @brb435 @desssss Wow thats actually really cool. Well i should just deal with having sore feet lol thanks ladies 😊
I heard that there are some pressure points you can hit in your feet and back that can cause you to go in labor but I think you have to like know exactly where they are at but you should be fine rubbing your feet mine hurt all the time I'm always rubbing mine lol
I've heard some things like that like that's why your not supposed to push hard or whatever when massaging or not massaging certain areas but I have no clue
It is true actually. I went to get a massage in my first trimester and it turns out, no massage salon or spa will touch a woman in her first trimester. I even talked to my OB about it after.
@hermommy haha ya she called out to my grandmother and she also flipped and started praying. hmm must be belief of some sort. i should google
my husband rubbed my feet all the time in late pregnancy with my feet swollen and sore from standing all day I needed it
