Does anyone else feel really alienated now that you're pregnant? I guess in my case most of my friends even at 29 are still single... Not even in relationships... Much less getting married or having a baby. I guess it just feels like my social life has gone down the tubes..! I think they figure if I can't drink at all of these events I just won't be interested... Which kind of has me reevaluating my friendships in general because it's kind of pathetic that seriously everything revolves around that.. !! The only friends I have that have really been there for me lately are a lot older than me, with kids!
I am expecting my second child at 24 my hubby is 30 and it is the same with us all of our friends are unmarried and only one even has a child but they still go out all the time due to having someone to always watch his son. So we are the only ones that always have our kids.
I have 2 friends now that I've had my daughter, but it's well worth it. Being a mom shows you who your real friends are.!
Hmm thanks guys! @newbiemama I have the same exact attitude.. The baby far outweighs anything else I feel it's just lonely sometimes! And my husband has to work nights so that's hard too. @kenitra that is an awesome idea. I will check it out for sure. Im also due in October!!!
Some of my friends already have kids, but most didn't start until around 30 (or later, or still not yet!). I know the first ones felt that way though. I still invited them to everything even after the babies came, just in case. It will get better! Also, you should join a Mom's Group. You can find them for your area on Facebook and Big Tent. And they will put you in a group who's babies are due around the same time as yours. I've already joined a few and I'm not due until October!
I feel the same way. Now that I am almost a mom, no one wants to hang out with me or see me anymore. I feel alone at times(friend wise) because I've been neglected but then I realized my baby boy is almost here and I start to not care anymore because he's way more important.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
@a.claypool13 I completely agree!! I think it's a good thing even though it's hard temporarily. @bugmama glad it's not just me! Lol
