**RANT** I never rant/vent on here but it's totally needed today! So anywho, me and my SO have been arguing the past couple days.. We finally worked it out and had much needed make up sex last night lol so for the most part we are better now yay!!😂 😎 okay so today before work he tells me how he knows someone selling 'yeezys'(kanye west's very expensive shoes) I'm just like that's cool... Then he tells me he's going to buy them for himself for a 'Father's Day gift' for $500 fuckin dollars!!!! He works 2 jobs, he's hardly home, he does deserve them but we have a family now and more important priorities. I was pissssed saying when was the last time I spent $500 on myself??! He says well I bought you boots, a Michael kors wallet and purse and I said I didn't ask for those things, they were surprises from you! (That I love very much, but hardly use😩)I immediately started telling him what Olivia needs... Like a high chair, laundry soap, a walker, things for camping next month and he had the nerve to ask me for $200 to help him get them when I get my unemployment this week!!!!??😾😾😾 I would rather spend that money on stuff we need or something we can do as a family. But he's determined on these damn shoes!! Am I wrong for being mad?!! Or just jealous or selfish?! Ugh😪😡😠😞**rant over** ugh feel so much better already lol

@oliviasmama1211, if you have it splurge on him and try to find a compromise that works for the best interest of everyone baby included.
@sarinunez, he never buys anything for himself. He always puts me and Olivia first and I respect him so much for it. I said fine you can get them but pay for them on your own.. I'll get you another gift then😂😂

@surprise4, I mean with this check we really don't have any Bills to pay so it works out. But he's asking me for $200 to be his father gift from me and I'm like really!!!!! I get so mad when we talk about it, he like backs off but then mumbles how he's going to get them😠
My boyfriend just bought an $1200 monitor... but he works really hard so I don't even get mad. Everyone's situation is different though.

My fiancé does the same shit. It's so annoying. Like yes I understand that he works a lot for us but we have priorities that we have to get before we can spend money on ourselves. It would be different if it was just the two of us but we have a baby on the way now
@oliviasmama1211, you aren't wrong you have your priorities together. My husband had the thought for a very long time that because he worked that is was okay to splurge on himself, the problem was that everything wasn't taken care of and he kept digging holes of debt that with the grace of God we were able to get out but at the cost of not always have the bare necessities. I could talk until I was blue in the face but he only understood the pain of going through.
