The nurse I have right now is so flustered and stressing me out... I call her in and she takes forever to show up. She's all over the place. She also didn't seem to know how to breastfeed properly.. I had someone explain it and show me but I'm still working at it and so are the boys, but she didn't want to touch me or really help me and it was discouraging me...

Same here! I feel like I can't provide enough for my daughter 😕 they keep talking to me like I'm slow, and the one nurse got snobby and said me if I even knew how to change a diaper ... Smh. But congratulations ❤️

I've learned that nurses don't necessarily get trained on how to nurse. Meagan shared a good resource. You can also look at kellymom.com- that's my go to website for breastfeeding questions and concerns. Make sure you notify the nurse that you need to see w lactation specialist/consultant before leaving the hospital so they can further assist you. It's tough in the first few days, but you can do it!! Keep putting babies to breast and have them nurse as often as they want so your body will know to produce more milk. You can do it!

Ditto @kimberlyyyy_the-preemie-mom there should be a lactation consultant that can actually help with the mechanics of breastfeeding. Good luck girl!
