Ways to deal with SPD?? Midwife reckons that what it is... I'm not sure but it's really ruining the end of my pregnancy.. Had enough of being in pain 😩😩
Thanks everyone.. Midwife told me to try physio but when I called them today they couldn't give me an appointment until 1st July.. (I'm due on the 3rd of July) so not really much point.. It's driving me up the wall.. I darnt walk far coz I walk like a bloody penguin 😂😂 @each chbabyno2 @mich77 @suzie80
Yes knees together at all times, I've had it with both pregnancies. I got a really good support brace from the hospital last time. My mum bought me a special seat for old people for my car that swivels and I got this special slidy matt thing for bed and sitting down. But I also had crutches at the end last time, it was worth it even though it's annoying as it took the weight off. Be very careful with swimming no breast stroke and if you do yoga then some of it helps but no lunging etc. Good luck xx
keep your knees together all the time....I mean sitting, getting on and off the loo, in and out of cars, when getting in the bath (although I can't do this one). A midwife told me to tie my knees together with my oh's tie to get a feel of the positions I need to be in. it's hard but has worked wonders for me @laurenn xxx
