Is 8lbs at 5 weeks big?

My daughter is 10 pounds at 5 weeks, she started at 6 pounds 6 oz so I say no. Lol. Chubby babies are the best!

It depends on birth eight. It definitely can be big, all depends on birth weight and how much was lost.

My baby was born at 8 pounds, 8 ounces and I still don't think she was big. She wore newborn for over two months. So I don't think 8 pounds at 5 weeks is considered big at all. I think eight pounds is a healthy size, as long as they've been gaining since birth.
