Can my baby's head be engaged at 26 weeks? The past 2/3 days, the only real movements I've felt have been practically on my pubic bone. I keep getting sharp twinges up inside my lady parts too... I only got these feelings with my first towards the end when he was engaged and wriggled his head but I didn't think they engaged this early!!?! I see my midwife tomorrow, will she be able to tell baby's position yet? Thank you :)

@jodieiokie, from 24 weeks my boys head was as low as possible, felt like he was gona stick his hand out and wave lol 😁 midwives couldn't believe how low he was.. was also putting pressure on my lady bits.. he moves out of that position but now and then goes back into it.. I also have a anterior placenta so I noticed the change in feelings of movement as when he's high I feel nothing really xx

I had heard that before @winterbaby95... Just don't expect it this early lol! Such a weird feeling!! Xx
If its your second :) they can pop in and out of the pelvis :) Xx
Maybe that's what it is then. Maybe just turned round and is facing downwards. Thank you :) xx
Baby shouldn't be engaged at 26 weeks but can be head down... My little girl has been head down since 20 weeks but not engaged xxx @jodieiokie
And the pains have been what I can only describe as movement on my cervix... I've head it being called lightning crotch before haha! But again didn't know if it was normal at 26 weeks @courtniegeexo xx
Baby has never been much of a wriggler... I have anterior placenta so always struggled but I'm just noticing the place in which I feel her move more at the minute has changed. Im not worried about the amount in which she's moving really... Just where I'm feeling it is weird and didn't know if it was possible for her to be "in position" this early xx
@jodieiokie,
go straight to triage! Any reduced or change in movements should be checked especially if your having pains xx
