so what comes first does the mucus plug have to come out before the water breaks or can the water break first and or can I have contractions before any of they above and be in labor help a sister out this is my first vaginal birth

My water broke at home at 37weeks with both my boys. Never seen my mucus plug and I never even had contractions until they gave me pitocin to induce my labor. Everyone's different.

My water broke, then an hour after my contractions started and I never seen my mucus plug.

Well for Me .. When I was pregnant with my daughter I had contraction first then some hours later my mucus plug came .. Then my water break .. Everything happen so quick .. But every one is different

Mine went in classic order. My mucus plug came out, 5 days later my water broke and 2 hours after my water broke I started having contractions!
