If you want to work, work. Let him know you want to go out and work. Our men sometimes can be selfish with thinking like that. On the other hand, if you don't mind staying home, stay. There is nothing wrong with women staying home with the children. I loved it. I personally think that's how it should be but times have changed. Yeah my momma raised me to be independent and I have been since the age of 16 but when you are in a committed relationship you depend on each other.

same here. i was supposed to go back to work after my daughter was 4 months old. nope found out I was pregnant and he wants me home. which is good for me cause I'm on bed rest anyways. but I totally get what you mean. I miss being around other people, making my own money (it's our money but still) and just having that sense of independence.

@mommy.to.be.041016, @kannonsmommy @junesmommy15 @irishtwinmom13 I think his concern is he doesn't trust daycares especially with what's been going on lately and our daughter is a hand full and he doesn't want anyone getting frustrated with her and plus we will have a new born, he let's us go out while he's at work he even gives us money to just go spend on whatever but I just hate seeing him paying bill , treating us but only every once in a while getting his self something its like I want to help too...

Find you some at home work. They are always hiring for customer service home jobs. And you can even do part time. I understand where you're coming from. Haven't been in that situation. But I do love making my own money and doing my own thing. My hat goes off to those that can stay at home. I couldn't do it.

At least you have great in tensions. Let him do that for you though. He really don't mind it. My husband let's me know all the time. I totally agree with him about daycare. My son is starting preschool now and only because I work there.

that's how my husband is. but I tell him all the time his and our kids needs and wants come before mine. he does have good reasons. that's why I am not putting my kids in daycare. a friend of mine will watch them. someone I absolutely trust. I do understand his reasons there. like someone said, try and maybe find work from home jobs? I know it's hard figuring out which ones are scams and which are legit but if that's your compromise then maybe that will help. I'd love to treat my husband out every once in a while but I'm stuck lol. like I said different situation I know.
