Try mixing it with a little water or milk, thin it out a little and if he still gags then he probably just doesn't like it lol

@mamesey, thanks! I tried and he kinda gagged so I wasn't sure if it was just to early @stephilynn19 see I tried and he gagged so I dont know if he didnt like it or it was to thick or what lol

Mine wouldn't at the meats, he didn't like them lol kept spitting them out

My 7 month old eats the pureéd meats in the jars

@stephilynn19, See mine is 7 months and he eats rice cereal, and fruits and veggies, I am just not sure when to give him the meats in the baby food jars

I started with the rice cereal mixed with formula first around 5 or 6 months and then around 9 months started giving him baby food for lunch instead of his afternoon bottle and it worked pretty well to wean him off formula when he was a year old :)
