I don't understand how people don't know how to calculate how far along they are..I really thought it was simple math 😕..obviously not huh lol
uhh yeah 40 weeks is ten months ...pretty sure I know how to count quite fine .and yeah that's cool and all but seeing that every woman gets pregnant at different times and there's 28 days In Feb 30 days in some months and 31 in others its just easier to Me to count the way I stated to count it..and as I said before MOST doctors don't count it that way because my doctor does NOT..maybe YOURS do..cool for y'all lol. @hellosweetie
Lol well I mean it makes sense if you think about it, 4 weeks is 28 days, there are 31 days in a month....but whatever works, most doctors go by this chart or similar ones though lol or just count the weeks instead of months, since in a normal pregnancy 40 weeks is full term....which if you count by 4 weeks in a month 40 weeks is more than 9 months btw haha
lol nah I don't agree with that way it complicates things I just like to look at it as four weeks in a month and call it a day..even my doctor counted it the way I did I've seen over like four doctors and they all counted it the way I do. I don't like the charts. @hellosweetie
I lot of people get it confused because they think 4 weeks equals 1 month, 8 weeks 2 months and so on....when in reality a month is more like 4 weeks and 3 days, so the months are broken up a little differently than just every 4 weeks for pregnancy...I always show confused mamas this chart to help them, most doctors go by this or by a system very similar 😉
I just don't get it
I don't understand twitter...or how to use it. Or anything. I'm twitter stupid.
Trigger. Lost baby
Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week. I don't want to do this. I don't want to do this. Not before Christmas. How am I'm going to tell my kids?? My dear sweet baby boy. Why did this happen?
Universal preschool access
I don't think I've ever seen this topic discussed here? Anyways, there's a bill or something up in MN for universal access to preschool. I have some friends who live there who are completely against it and I'm trying to understand why. I can't understand their concerns because their concerns aren't how 4k works? At least not here and wouldn't be there from how I understand it.
I don't know how many times I've seen this on here but I would really like to make it clear that it takes about 5 or more weeks of being pregnant before you actually know you're pregnant...
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
That's fine I'm not telling you to stop doing it that way, I am just saying statistically yes, MOST doctors do count it this way. I've researched a lot in pregnancy, birth and breastfeeding and that's what I have learned from countless doctors, nurses and midwives....but every doctor is different, and every mama is different so to each their own...just trying to help you understand why other mamas do it differently, they aren't being dumb and "not knowing simple math", they are attempting to count it the way that the majority of doctors do. Just trying to help.
