Aw so sorry to hear that. Keep trying once a day and who knows, he may latch then! I tried two different kinds of nipple shields. Baby preferred lansioh over medela.
@bellahali, I try every other feeding. He would not even latch on the lansioh ones at all. I don't get how lactation can always get him to latch but I can't. But I pump so at least he is still getting my milk not formula. I'm definitely not giving up though
I was having issues getting my week old to latch when the consultant could. she said to just shape the nipple and put the baby up to it. so far it is working

@bellahali, we have but he will only stay latched for a couple minutes. He collapses the nipple and doesn't like it
