I sometimes call my lo monkey. To me he looks like a little monkey. My so says it's racist and offensive. What do you think?

Does this look like a dog? If so, what kind? Someone posted it on a lost dog Facebook page and said that she is very skinny and looks like she's been on her own for a while. She kind of looks like a baby fox or coyote to me.

I don't have a good picture of him, but I definitely think she looks like daddy more. What do you ladies think? ?
