Do you have Motrin by any chance? If you do Piggyback it the next time he needs a does give him Motrin and a Luke warm bath keep him in a diaper and if that doesn't work take Gino urgent care or the ER he could have an infection
i did and they told me that since he has other symptoms to keep him on tylenol but if his other symptoms come off but he still has fever, to take him in @bellahali
How much Tylenol you gave him? 2,5 ml? All of that? Maybe your baby just didn't get enough Tylenol? I'm always using a Tylenol suppositories, because my baby throwing away a half doze of Tylenol for his weight. Be sure that your baby didn't throw Tylenol away and swallowed it.
It doesn't seem too high for a baby his age, if the urgent care gave you instructions then I would closely follow them...the most they will do is give him the same meds you can give him unless there's a sign of infection that they may treat with antibiotics if it's bad enough! I would get some Motrin, because if you alternate meds the effectiveness is actually greater! And you can give him tylenol, then two hours later give him motrin and not have to worry about overdose because they don't have the same active ingredients. This is what was done for my brother when he was a kid, so I would ask a pharmacist before doing that for a 4 month old because it may be different, however even if you do every 4 hours like the box says alternating will still help! Also keep with those cool baths, not too cold....use a damp washcloth on his head and back while out if the tub, and if you still breastfeed latch him at every chance you have because once your body gets wind of what he has, it will work extra hard to send antibodies to him that are specially tailored to his needs right now and he will get better faster! Call his doctor. I heard 100.4 is when you take them to urgent care or emergency. I hope he feels better, poor baby! Sorry momma
