Yep, you are ONLY supposed to wash your private area with pure water. It cleans it better than anything!

no, straight from my midwifes name, pregnant or not. it really does more harm than good. it washes away the good bacteria in your vagina, regular use will do it to any woman. some just take longer for it to give you a yeast infection like it did me @mommytobe0703

I knew harsh soaps and scented was bad... I have sensative skin anyway so I use dove sensative everywhere and it works fine for me.

I use the summers eve wipes time to time, I've never had any issues. You could just be sensitive to the wash. Everyone different. Soaps in general can cause infections, laundry detergent just wearing thongs etc. I use to use ivory soap and I always got infections and then I was told it was that soap so I stopped using it. Just depends on you really.

It throws off your ph balance its bad for everywoman weather they get a reaction from it or not. Your lady flower doesn't need any strong products near it

@mommytoaiden, just water or sensitive soaps like bars of soaps. nothing with a scent . even my summers eve is sensitive and unscented the other ingredients is what takes away the good bacteria

I've been using vagisil ph balance for years and it's the only thing that keeps away yeast infections for me. my OB recommended it to me a while ago.

Yeah guys just was down there with water & you'll be fine . Anything scented will give you a risk of increased infections down there . I stopped washing with soap in my first trimester cuz I had developed BV .

I used it & idk if that's what caused my uti but now am on antibiotics to get rid of it

I'm giving information from experience and from my midwife I trust and now I'm dealing with the pain from not asking her about it sooner. you can have your opinion, just don't knock the info I received and posted a status about to tell other Mommy's . use what you wish. its your pussy.

@lizibear84, I used the anti itch cream and summers eve wash so I'm not sure if yours is different . my midwife just told me to stop both, because now I have a horrible yeast infectionand hurt too much to be intimate

This sounds really gross but I use to get really really bad yeast infections and I couldn't ever keep them away I always had one and then I heard to use all natural coconut oil and rub a little bit everyday on your lady parts. Or rub a little bit down there every time after you use the bathroom and ever since I've started doing that I haven't had one single yeast infection!

@owynngenesmommy07316, I used to get the worst yeast infections, even my OB/gyn had trouble with them. I was on antifungals every other month for probably 2 years before this stuff came out. It's worked wonders for me. I've tried using just unscented soap and water, and as soon as I did, I got an infection. Everyone's body reacts different to products. The vagisil I use is unscented though, I guess it just has extras in it

I drink cranberry juice and it works like a charm... they even have the cranberry vitamin pills those helps with yeast infection I know because I use to get them a lot but don't anymore...

I use a soap called Basis, it's all natural. I struggled with chronic yeast infections and utis, I got them monthly. that's the only thing that ever helped me.
