exactly they'll say oh that sounds funny idk if I like just so you can change your mine then boom they have a baby, dog, cat, or whatever kinda pet and name it the same dam thing at least when baby's here they have no choice but to like it unless they don't care and let u know how they really feel but those are the people we should keep close lol

@pretti_preggo, Such smart ladies on here choosing to wait on sharing the name. I wish I did this myself. I have noticed that people will even say a name is blah, bleak or awful yet you'll hear them consider it or my favorite name their animal that name.

@kaseylyn, Oh defiantly not gonna happen. I think it's a cool name and think my son will like it as well. To be honest if he does grow up to not like his name he can always change it and that will be his choice. Not my husbands best friend who had to share his opinion while drunk...Yes I'm gonna listen to the words of a man who is drunk on the name of my unborn son 😑 think again...

I like it very unique and love the meaning that's why I tell people I don't have a name yet even though I do and partly because people like to steal names after they find out the meaning as well so yea Noooope her name is no name wait till she's born 👌💪

@mommabearto2, yay! I totally agree! As soon as I read your post I was like yep this chicks awesome!! I love your sons name the more I read it/say it. Trust me they will too. They'll end up going back on their word when your son is born and is a total badass! Bjorn Emrys the bear of immortality!! Yes! I love it!! @maybabyboy, I agree completely! 👏 Everyone thinks they know better but thinking of a name you want to name your child takes a lot of time. Once you get your heart set on something there will always be someone to trash it without thinking this person clearly has different likes and dislikes than you and is also raising this child, not you.

It's crazy how people change their tune when all of a sudden there is no changing the name. people just need to stop trying to put their opinions on everything.

I just stopped telling people my son's name once I heard one or two negative opinions. it's not anyone's place to have an opinion other than you and the dad. just tell people it's a surprise or you haven't decided, no one ever has a negative opinion once the name is official on the birth certificate.

I swear after my husband and his friend its made me even more locked and loaded in naming my child Bjorn Emrys. I feel like they were just trying to make me feel insecure about it about his name. @mommabearto2, I know I feel like my friends and family think the same thing when I mention Thorbjorn oh like the super hero..no like the God of thunder lol. I love Nordic names!! They're so beautiful and unique with such strong meanings. And your sons name is badass! I would stick with Bjorn Emrys! Knoxville would definitely be out of the question for me I have to agree with you what comes to mind when hearing that name...a total Jackass!! Lol!!

@kaseylyn, Oh Thorbjorn is an awesome name. Even considered it for our son but could hear his parents make fun of it cause Thor is a "superhero" 😒 No Thor is a God. Freya is a gorgeous name as well. I wanted a Nordic name to show pride in my bloodline and for that we get made fun of for it. I don't understand it. My husband says he is hurt cause I chose our daughters name Aaliyah but he chose her middle name being Luna but now we are having a son he wants his middle name to be Knoxville cause thats apparently cool for him and his friend. Knoxville is a fake surname for a guy who has been video taped basically beating the crap out of himself and of others. That to me is nothing to be prideful about. Just boggles my mind.
