hey everyone, proud to announce that my little guy will be here tomorrow morning via c section. I'm so excited and can't wait to see my handsome guy, however I don't know why, but I'm super super nervous for my c section... my obgyn will personally be doing the section and he's the head over all of obgyn and l&d, it makes me feel a little better knowing he's doing it. what was all your personal experiences with c sections? I just need something to help reassure everything will be just fine.

idk if they would let you..honestly it goes by super fast..
@p0790, my husband will be there, I'll probably make him hold my hand and talk to me the whole time. is it bad if I just close my eyes and tried to fall asleep and then have my husband wake me up when they pull my baby out?
@ftmommieoftwiinz hopefully I won't need to throw up. how does that work if your stomach is opened??
I had one.. I guess you can say it was emergency.. even though I was scheduled for an earlier date..honestly..its not as bad as you would thing..I was scared out of my mind..I have never had a surgery or anything like that. but right now I'm just sore but the anesthesiologist will keep you at ease..if you have a good one..mine was a rock star..anything you feel let them know if your nauseous shaking..feel like your going to throw up..let them know..but good luck I'm sure you will do great!
You'll be fine. The nurses will be by your side the whole time. Before, during & after.
mine wasnt scheduled so i didnt have the time to mentally prepare myself, honestly i just closed my eyes i was getting a lot of anxiety when ny legs were completly numb n i couldnt move them so the anesthesiologist was talking to me the whole time trying to get my mind off if your so woukd be there make him talk to u the whole time
@lovelymommylumps, thank you! I'm so excited. I bet it's the best feeling. the last couple days I just lay in bed and just think about what he's going to look like and how big he will be.
@p0790 what did you do to ease the nervousness?
everything will be ok, the nurses are gonna make sure youre not in pain i just had a csection a month ago n it was my first as well if u have any questions feel free to ask!
Congratulations...! You finally get to meet your little tidbit. I've never had a c-section but that feeling when you first hold your baby is priceless.
