thanks to all you beautiful ladies you have made my decision so much easier. I myself hate purses and much rather carry a back pack to be hands free. I just didn't know what new moms should or should not have or which would make things easier for a new mom. I'm so very grateful for you guys responses.

I love the backpack ones especially the one that clips on to the stroller handles!!! So I don't have to put it in the basket under the baby and I always have access to it!

This is my first baby but I'm going for a backpack all the way. I need to be hands free! I can't even carry a regular purse (with handles) anymore. Only messenger purses that go across my body. It's just so much easier and I don't even have a baby to carry around yet.

regular diaper bags are annoying. I use either a backpack or a cross body purse because they get heavy.
