No. They changed the guidelines and 39 weeks is considered full term now.

I don't understand why they changed it is been happening for over 2000 years and every pregnancy is the same length (9 months) my doctor told me 37 weeks is full term

My doctor told me at 37 weeks my baby would be fine to come, he's completely grown. That the last few weeks he's just getting chunkier and getting perfected. But if my son were to come at 37 weeks he would be totally fine.

37 weeks is considered "term" , like your doctor won't stop labor if it happens now. But 39 weeks is "full term". The lungs still need a little time to complete development but for the most part they are just packing on fat now :)
