I really want to get on birth control after my baby is born. I'm 31 weeks so I figured I should start thinking about it. I'm going to be breast feeding so I would like to get something that doesn't have any risks for drying up my milk at all. Any suggestions!?

I got the depo shot and I'm still able to breast feed. in fact I leak a whole lot more.

I think a hormonal BC is the only type that helps with that....
I wanted to get on something without hormones. @dcb012 I just can't get on anything that makes me have a heavier flow because I have such a heavy one already.

The only thing that can 100% not affect it is a non Hormonal IUD. All the other ones have a risk of it. If you EXCLUSIVELY breastfeed with ZERO substitution ever, the mini pill can be a semi okay option but again has hormones and limited birth control protection.... No matter what you get on always be safe unless you're ready and planned for another. I know multiple people that had no cycle while nursing and assumed they were fine and ended up pregnant with a 3 month old....

My doctor also recommended me getting the flu shot while pregnant ? I'm not sure if I want to or if i should ? It's all scary to me !! What do you ladies think ? Did you get the flu shot while pregnant ? Are there any risks? Or should I wait ? I'm so scared of taking anything while pregnant , much less getting this shot.. He said it isn't mandatory , just recommended.
Ladies, I'm so freaking excited and happy right now that I am UGLY crying at work !! My doctor just called me because he got my blood results back, baby is good and I'm having A BOYYYY!!! I cant believe after all I've been through I finally get my boy !!! Thank you Jesus !!! I want to surprise Tim, any ideas of how I can surprise him for when he gets home from work tonight ??? UGH!!! I'm so jealous of the girls that already start to leak I'm 36+3 & still NOTHING i know it can happen after birth but I get so damn worried that I won't produce any milk for my twins ... :'( what if i don't a few days after labor .. I'm screw I dnt want to formula feed my baby I'm not against it but breastfeeding is way better :'(
Where are my short preggies at?? I'm 5'1 and already miserable because my stomach is soooo tight! I swear I don't know how I'm going to get any bigger! 😭😖😂😳

Heavy flow is horrible. Something that doesn't induce heave menstrual flow.
