How old was your baby when you started giving 4oz?
My LO is 16 days, & she has been doing 3oz every 3.5 to 4 hrs, up until a few days ago (I believe she's going through a growth spurt) she will drink 3oz then about 2hrs later be hungry.
Is it okay to up it to 3.5 or 4oz?
I've done talked to her pediatrician & she was quite a b****. Saying how I should be breastfeeding anyway & she shouldn't drink more then 2oz every 3 hrs. I'll defiantly be switching her dr.

its fine for you to try 4oz if she can't keep it down then I would go back to 3oz my daughter was in nicu eating every 2 hrs and they said she was the only one who had to have snack time in between and they would give her another oz or 2 and she would be fine by the time she was a month old she was drinking 6 oz bottles

my son has been drinking 4 ounces every 3 hours since he was 3 weeks old

I breastfeed my son until he gets satisfied and 2 oz formula after that. I asked the doctor yesterday if his tummy is large enough for that she said its not a problem.

I started 4ozs around 2 months but I believe if my daughters hungry I feed her babies don't eat just to eat. If she's not hungry she'll stop eating and pull away, don't worry about numbers so much if my daughter is full that's all I want I burp her and see if she wants more but hey that's just me

We did 4oz at 4 months. We went up an oz each month.
