I find it really irritating when people stereotype teen moms. I was 18 when I got pregnant and 19 when I gave birth. I am in a really good spot in life. I take care of my kid nearly 24/7, go to college online FULL TIME (meaning more than 12 credits hours) and I work every other weekend as a CNA and throughout the week at the grocery store in town (which I get to take my son with me to work since my family owns the store). I work my butt off and still do EVERYTHING for my kid. So yeah it's a little irritating when people throw young parents into one category and judge them saying they aren't going anywhere in life and that they should have gone to college first or gotten married first. It's hurtful. Never ever stereotype people. Not only that but ANYONE at ANYTIME can get pregnant!!! Odds are the people judging are having sex too they just didn't happen to get pregnant. Sorry for the rant.

Preach! My friend was 16 now she's 17 and she stayed in day school (high school) and she graduates this year, and she works a full time job and still is with her son more times than not! The only time she's not with her son is if she's in school or working.

I was 19 when I had my twins and never considered myself a teen mom lol. I was grown and on my own.

I think no matter what age for some reason woman get judged when they do decide to have a child. With saying that I got pregnant at 17 and didnt get any judgment from it or at least not to my face. Then again at 17 I already had my diploma, house and car so I think everyone just assumed I was older 😂
