Hi mommies, I was just wondering how ordering the breastpump through the insurance works? I called my insurance and Yes it covers the breastpump but I'm under my husbands name for the insurance and I have no idea how to order it. TIA

I am under my husband as well. He holds the policy. I just called and said I am 6 months pregnant and wanted to know of a breast pump was covered. They gave me 5 phone numbers to call, pick the pump I wanted and call the numbers. Then I called and they took my info from my insurance, got the pump I wanted & then faxed my doctor for a prescription. I got it in the mail a week later :)

Another way that could work is going through a website like edgepark (and there are others you can find through a Google search)...you put in insurance and pump info and they contact the insurance and get it sent to you.

Call the insurance back and ask for a list of numbers and call them. Either they will have somewhere local where u can pick it up or they will mail it too you but some places want a doctor prescription
