Hi, I'm 8 weeks pregnant and desperately would like to get an early pregnancy scan. Waiting until week 12 is just too long for me. Did anyone get an early scan? Can you recommend it? I would like to set my mind on ease and just see the baby is there and doing fine.

i did cuz i lost 2 before this one. the hosp did it for us. with the 2nd baby we lost we paid for one ourselves which is how we found out it had died 😢. but im 37+1 now and cant wait x
I had one at the hospital at 9 weeks but I was severely poorly. You don't get to see much, but if the reassurance is going to help put your mind at ease, mummy needs to be chilled as possible. You can do early scans privately. Check what those vouchers cover and research the offering clinic itself. Xx
I had one a 6 weeks with both as they thought I was having an ectopic pregnancy
We had to have an emergency early pregnancy scan on the nhs, due to bleeding and cramps, as they thought it may have been ectopic. Different situation I understand but was a mega relief to see him even though he was just a tiny little dot @ 7 weeks :) x
I've had one at 8 weeks as I was really desperate too, but to be honest I wish I waited a bit as it didn't look too human yet, but seeing the heartbeat and seeing it move was priceless :)
I'd say its better to wait :) you'll be able to see more at 12 weeks anyway xx
@zoeleigh, did it make you feel happy after you've seen your baby? I found vouchers at groupon and will purchase those. It's definitely worth it for me.
The only thing you could do is pay for a private scan, if they do early ones im not sure as i havent had one before X
