I stopped my birth control for a while and then I had unprotected sex, it's been 4 days since I've had sex and I took a birth control pill last night...can I still get pregnant?
@cookiemonster1216, not exactly trying to... But if I happen to get pregnant, I don't want to kill it with the birth control...that's why I didn't take a plan B...
Are you TTC? You should really either do one or the other. Going off and on bc like that can mess with your hormones from fluctuating so much. That being said, a bc pill is not a plan b pill, and yes, you could get pregnant. Birth control is supposed to be taken care every day at the same time.
I think you can since you took the pill after you had sex... I didn't take my pill at the same time everyday and some days I even missed it and had to double up but over the 8 years I was on it I never got pregnant but I fee since you stopped then it's a chance that you could.
maybe. sometimes you have to wait till a normal cycle. but everyone is different. with my first born I got pregnant two months after stopping them. I had to wait on my periods to regulate. This time around I got pregnant 5 months after stopping the depo shot. usually with the depo shot it can take a 6-12 months to get pregnant. sometimes longer. I'm very happy I got pregnant again. and I got twins:) I kept saying, and wishing for a big family. it's so awesome to get two babies at once, and my 4 yr old. we're gonna have so much fun :)
Taking bc can cause miscarriage if you get pregnant. If you're not trying to prevent, just quit taking it completely. Your hormones jumping back and forth can also prevent pregnancy or cause a miscarriage.
