Vent: I don't understand how someone has no motivation, no desire to want more in life. My mans mom has no motivation to do anything besides be in her kids (which are adults now 26-30) business's and drama... But when I tell her about a job or even a business endeavor she's all of a sudden is to old, or to sick. 🤔 she doesn't have much of anything, she can hardly afford a bra if she needed one. She stays in the house and never wants to hang w: her adult friends... I feel sorry for her at times but other times I don't because I don't understand a person w/ no motivation in life. I'm convinced that she's depressed. 🤔

@pikapal, yes they're close... I try motivating her, talking to her but she'll be all for things when u talking to her but than the moment there's no attention on her she finds some sickness or complains she's tired.... I've never had a mental issue, I've been through things but my Ma raised me to never let things hold u down... Maybe ppl just deal w/ things differently, it's hard for me to be sympathetic... It help if she doesn't want to help herself. 😞
its not as easy as it sounds .. what if she was raped? assaulted? what if shes dealing with it because shes holding it in.. if you havent had a mental illness you wont understand
It may be what she said up there^^ and it's not as easy as just shaking it off. Maybe she just needs some emotional support or something? Are her and your man close?
It's a possibility @mommypanda but u can't dwell on the past. Some ppl have to learn to be strong n shake it off.
maybe something in her past is bugging her and its hitting her hard right now.
Especially if she doesn't want to help herself (correction) ^^
