coconut oil would work, but it's more effective if you mix it with other essential oils like, peppermint, tea tree, Rosemary, or eucalyptus oils. not really sure if it would be as effective if you mixed it with the lotion. you could always try it and see of it works but it might be more beneficial to use the coconut oil with other oils vs a lotion. if you were going to use one or the other though, the coconut oil might be better than using the lotion you have. since oil is what helps to repel and kill the mosquitoes.

you could also try actual baby oil. it should actually help as well, probably better than a lotion. personally i don't like being all oily, and the creamy oil works just as well.

I use coconut oil. could I n possibly combine the 2 for maybe the same effect?@temp

because the creamy oil is what keeps the mosquito from biting it's harder for them or nearly impossible for them to bite your skin when it's oily, they aren't the same thing. that's why a lot of repellents have an oily texture to them.

Why wouldn't the lotion work also? it has the same ingredients. I'll at least try it for a couple days or just give it away.@temp,

i use it on myself and it's fantastic, i get it at target. 4.99 a tube, can't find it at any baby stores or at Walmart.
