Before you put your baby down for the night make a bottle of cooled boiled water, your baby might just be thirsty rather than hungry, might also not bother getting up if they know that's all they are getting. Although if your baby is hungry give them a normal bottle, they'll soon fall into a routine. My wee boy still gets up once you just have to follow their routine for just now ☺️
Hey 😊 I know how knackering newborns are! Babies aren't biologically mean to sleep through the night though. Waking during the night is part of their survival instincts. You get the lucky few who's babies do sleep through (I'm jealous, my almost 1 year old doesn't sleep through 😩). If your baby is still waking, there are ways of maximising sleep like white noise, swaddling etc. but you shouldn't expect babies that are so young to sleep through. I know that's not really what you want to hear when your so tired but I find it helps me to know that there's not anything wrong with my baby and that night waking is normal! When she gets a bit older & can hold her own bottle it will be easier 😊
You can get a wicked app called 'white noise- baby sleep sounds' you can put it on for how ever minutes, hours you like it switches of its self its always sent my little one to sleep :)
Give them a good feed before bed. I got into s routine of bum bottle and straight into his Moses basket. He has slept through since 5/6 weeks old and still is a brill sleeper. We are now trying him in his cot and still sleeps all night 👍🏼 if they wake don't rush there feed and do bum before bottle. And try get him to drink as much as possible before putting them down again
