I lost my mucus plug last week at 31 weeks and had contractions but was not dilated at all. Was given 2 steroid injections and the contractions stopped so i went home being told to go back to hospital if things happened again. Have a scan and obstetrics appointment in two weeks (previous baby born at 35 weeks) and midwife the week after. Noticed baby had 'dropped' over the weekend and bump is definitely looking lower and am having regular, what I think are, braxton hicks for the past hour. Am worried that labour is imminent 😕

Your baby will be strong enough at this stage. Try to relax and not strain. Good luck xxx

try to relax @dnash I know it's easier said than done. I would call your midwife/ assessment unit though just to make them aware xx

Thanks @claire269 The midwifes in my area are so difficult to get hold of.
Have an appointment with the obstetrics in two weeks so can hopefully hold on until then. However I have felt odd today, like I can't put my finger on what's wrong
