My boyfriend offered to get up with Tripp all last night so I could get some sleep. (All I needed to do was get up and pump so he could feed him). At 3:00 I pumped a 3.5 oz bottle & he went into the nursery to feed him & dropped it on the floor, only leaving 1oz!!! Then I hear Tripp scream the most horrific scream I have ever heard. My boyfriend put him on the glider ottoman while he was cleaning it up & Tripp FELL off onto the floor!!!! Thank God he is okay, but I cannot believe that happened. My boyfriend feels absolutely horrible about it (he was sobbing after it happened) but now I honestly feel like I can't trust him to take care of Tripp by himself. Am I being unreasonable about that?

Awww we all make mistake especially when being 1st time parents. I know after that it makes u nervous but give him another chance once u feel comfortable.
I have made a few mistakes that left me disappointed in myself since 3 months ago. I also don't always agree with my husbands methods (and neither he mine) but we respect each other, and are kind when we make a mistake. there's only so much you can do and its important for dad to be able to grow too. also important for dad to be there to be babies hero when something goes wrong so baby knows he will be there to help too! Tripp is ok, right? I think you should still trust him to give you a break. he just hasn't had as much practice as you.
