I'm pregnant with my first baby & I'm already nervous about labor & everything & ppl keep telling me. "It's gonna hurt so bad" "Your gonna be in so much pain" I'm so so scared & everyone keeps making it worse...... Any advice to help ease my mind? I'm 28 weeks 1 day.
@mamaash, no, I'm going all natural lol. I might get medicine to ease the pain but I want it all 😂
I'm days or even minutes away from having my baby and I gotta tell you honestly that the nervousness doesn't go away. You just have to remind yourself that your body is literally designed to do this! I'm still trying to tell myself that same thing. It's hard but I know we can do it :)
I haven't had a baby, but to ease your mind, no matter what pain you go through it will all be worth it and it wont last forever, May seem that way during that time..but your adrenaline will kick in and you will just know what to do and how much you can handle.. you got this!
Well. You're gonna be pushing a child out of your vagina. Pain will be involved. But I honestly don't think it's ever as bad as someone makes it out to be. For me? Getting a tattoo was worse than my labor. But of course I have yet to get a tattoo that lasts for 70+ hours. Lol.
my advice ? ignore them until it's time because it's only extra stress ! Wich isn't needed right now for you. keep calm and when the time comes obviously it's going to hurt but it's your choice and your journey to bringing your little one to this world . at the end of the day you'll have your blessing and it WILL be worth it !! Those are my thoughts right now. people have been trying to scare me as well Wich I know is true but it's annoying and I'm happy with my blessing . she will be worth it to me !
if you get an epidural and it works for you. cause some women say they still feel pain idk tho. you'll feel nothing delivering only took me 20 minutes of pushing and he was out. was the easiest thing I've ever experienced
I was planning on going natural too @daij but decided that last minute I need to be comfortable especially when I was in labor for 19 hours. you might change your mind but if you don't props to ya.
I never thought about labor and this is my first. I'm 38w today and it still hasn't hit me that I want to have a natural birth in a week or two 😂 just don't worry about it, you have a while to go anyway. Are you planning on going to birthing classes? They're really good for FTM's in my opinion
I am expecting my second in September. My first was actually a breeze I actually labored at home for 6 hours before going in knowing I was in labor got to the hospital at 730 pm by 830 pm had my epidural and just relaxed. I wasn't in a whole lot of pain for those first 6 hours but knew I was in active labor to me it was less pain then my ovarian cysts that I've had since I was 13 so for me it wasn't to bad. 5 hours later had my son and actually laughed him out. It is so rewarding and I enjoyed my first experience. With this one I am expecting to go natural though. Just breathe and remember your bundle of joy.
You won't feel anything during pushing because of the epidural. And they have medicine to help you during labor for the pain
Thank You! I've been such a nervous wreck & so very scared. It all kinda took "my moment" of being pregnant away because I've been so scared.
Honestly in the heat of the moment of pushing and delivering your baby you don't even feel it. The healing time isn't ideal but it is very much worth the reward. 😊
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Thank you all so much for all your advice & kind words. They mean a lot to me ❤️
