So there is every chance that baby Quen could make his appearance before my baby shower. Doctor says that there is no way I am going to make it to my due date, which is okay but what do I do about the baby shower if he comes early? Do I cancel it or just have like a birthday party for him lol? Plus I am 34 weeks and can already feel his hands down in my pelvic area.

Yes you can still do the shower even when baby arrives beforehand lol that just gives people the opportunity to meet the little one. And why is your doctor saying you won't make it til due date ?

you can have a meet and greet. I went into early labor as well at 34 +3. after my baby shower. had her at 35 +1. we then had a meet and greet for people after she was born for those who couldn't make it to our first shower. my midwife also predicted me to go early cause I was measuring 2 weeks ahead and baby was emitting a protein signalling my body was getting ready in the next few weeks

i was underweight before i got pregnant and he already weighs about 4.5 pounds. she thinks that ill have him early because he is causing a lot of strain on my body. i am a petite woman and am host now getting to a healthy weight for my size. i never starved myself or anything i just couldnt gain weight. i am already dilated 2 cm and my cervix is softening. she says even if i have him early that she doesn't see me or him having any issues due to his size. which is exciting but also very nerve wrecking at the same time.@lilmama22,

but i have been dilated like that since about 24 weeks. so it could not mean anything. im just stressing over things because he could come early. i have everything ready for us at the hospital and home but alot of things j was hoping to get at the baby shower. so i was just wondering if i should keep it going and having something still even if he comes early.
