Scared to poop after my c section. lol.. 3 days post op.

it took me a week and a half after mine. but I was stuck on a liquid diet for 3 days :/

I went after 3 days. Take stool softeners and drink tons of prune juice! That's what I did the whole time in the hospital and had a BM just a few hours before I was discharged :)

@maymomma052016, as long as you pass gas they will discharge you. Sometimes the meds you get can cause constipation. But constipation post op is not a reason to keep a patient in hospital. Congrats

@bubblebeck, we told then we wanted to leave last night after being treated like shit for 4 days. but I was gassy as hell there

Are you still at the hospital? They wouldn't let me go home until I went poop after my csection. Ask for some Colace.

I had a fourth degree tear and a c section.... Seriously the most painful thing in my whole life because of the Narcos they gave me ... I took milk of magnesium it gave me the runs but it did wonders!!
