are you supposed to fast before taking the glucose test? the nurse told me to not eat anything from 9pm the day before and I had to take it at 10 am the next morning and I failed miserably...I eat a low sugar, rarely carb, vegetarian diet and my sugars have always been on point....now they want me to take pills....first day I took the pill I bottomed out and my blood sugar went down to 40....so I've been just monitoring my sugars and eating how I've been and I'm fine...ugh.
