How much apple or prune juice is okay for a 8 month old to have? She is having problems pooping so thought I'd try that but I don't want to give her too much

I'm not sure about the juices but I have my son pear one day for each of his three meals and it helped him go poo

When Faye was 8mo old, our Doctor said 1oz of prune just to equal part 1oz of water. Every 4-5 hours.

prune juice is very sugary and harsh... be careful it could tear up babies belly and butt... 1 oz is all though

o and just a fyi i was talking about the 1:1 for apple hun i only did about 1tsp of prune juice in my sons formula

@arielannette, I gave my daughter pears with her cereal this morning and I think she popped like 3 times today lol. Pears definitely worked!! Thank you(:
