While I was hand pumping one side, I didn't realize the other boob was leaking like crazy 😭 is it normal to leak this much ??
@joanne95, 😂😂 My bed has a bunch of milk stains cuz of that
@joanne95, This always happens lol I should know better already but I was half asleep 😅
@hellosweetie, Omg those things look so cool !! lol I'm going to look into them
@hellosweetie, I really didn't know this lol no wonder my other boob leaks when I'm nursing too, thanks !! I'm gonna start pumping one side while I nurse on the other
Yes that is normal, remember even if you "only" get a few ounces from pumping, it isn't the same as when the baby nurses because a pump doen't empty the breast as well as the baby does. So keep that in mind and try and latch the baby when you are with them, and you can even pump on the other side while baby is nursing on one side, and you will actually get a LOT more put of that because the baby sucking and stimulating helps bring out hormones that produce milk and also trigger the let down reflex, which is when the milk flow is pushed out by the milk ducts like muscles pushing it out....that's prob what happened while you pumped, you had a let down and although your breasts produce different amounts and seperately, when there's a let down they both let down at the same time lol which is awkward and sucks for our shirts! Anyways, that being said I STILL leak all over EVERYTHING if I don't keep these girls under wraps! I have to keep them in the nursing bra at all times with washable breast pads because otherwise I'll wake up in a puddle and when I feed my girl I'll soak my shirt lol pressure helps, if you have a tight bra on or even just put your hand on your breast and keep pressure on the nipple area it generally stops the let down from happening on that side, some women don't feel them or notice them until the milk is coming out but if you're like me it will feel pinchy and sharp still but won't leak with the pressure....
That means you arent completely draining your breast, when you do, it will prevent leaking for a couple hours. I pumped every 2 hours to build my supply, and feed him, but I learned that I had to completely drain myself
That's nor al and pumpi ng that much is great, normal pump response is .5 to 2 oz for a missed feed. You shold only pup once a day unless working or only pumping. Pumping is not indication of supply, nor is leaking.
@momagainjj82, I'm honestly only producing about 2oz every 3-4 hours :( idk why I leak so much though
@thesandersfamily, That's happened to me too lol I don't realize I'm dripping all over my son
Wow!! That's wild!! I only get little circles lol. Jealous of your milk supply haha
Lol yes, I personally haven't but that's because everyone's flow and amount of milk is different. As long as it isn't like green or something lol
Love your shirt! I think it is normal, I've leaked that much as well! I was watching TV a couple weeks ago, my Son unlatched and I hadn't realized it until I went to move him; but I leaked breast milk all over my shorts, my Son, and the boppy pillow! Lol!
I know I've posted this before but when your water was leaking did it stay leaking or just with movements or what? Did you get contractions shortly after or no? I rolled out of bed and felt warmth leak out but Idk if it was possibly urine or what...never had it happen. It didn't smell like anything really...I know I should either call l&d or go in but I just want some experiences please. I want to wait a bit just in case it's nothing.

My boobs are leaking and soaking my baby girl!!

Feeding my niece.....I can't tell you just how much I hate Dr. Brown's. I hate them with the passion. They leaked with my kids and this one just just leaked. Reminds me that I won't be using these this round! 😑😒
I think my water broke guys ... its not like gushing out but its slow leaking
Question! When did you start 'leaking'? I want to invest in nipple guards so I don't start leaking through my clothes in public or something. Lol
@joanne95, The struggle lol
