Getting induced Sunday. Can hardly wait to meet my baby girl π any advice from people that have had inductions? & how long after the cervidol did you have your baby?
my full labor was 31 hours and 15 minutes and I agree with @jennerfay they broke my water at 5cm and not even an hour after that everything sped up. I had cervadil for 12 hours the Foley balloon for what felt like forever then pitocin and they broke my water around 530pm and I had my baby at 915pm
I had the cervidil put in at 545pm, out at 545am and it didn't dilate or thin me out at all. Took it out and two hours later while waiting on the Doctor to come in and decide out next step, my water broke on its own. Had my baby at 5:09pm. So just shy of 12 hours after removing it.
I went in 2pm on a Sunday, around 4pm they inserted the cervidil into my area, they removed that at maybe 5/6 am the next morning, then started pitocin shortly after, and by 11:37am I had my beautiful baby girl, it also wasn't as bad as I imagined inductions to be, and what other people told me.
I went in at 7:00 they gave a dose of cervidol (a pill) I went to bed. Then at 6:00 am they gave me another cervidol. They started poticin around noon, & I had my son at 5:37 pm. It really was not so bad. Good luck to you!!
