Now moms with more than one child, how did you handle a newborn on top of the other one? My sons 3, very strong willed…

My son is 8 and my daughter is 4. When she was born, I just included him in her care. You just have to make them feel like they are still important. Now they are going to have a little brother.

@cait.mommyto3, you are the third person so far that has the same birthday/age as my daughter. 😊

I have a 2 year old, a one year old on the 20th of this month (@smam2 havent seen someone who shares my sons birthday and age until now, thats cool!) and will also have a newborn next month or July. With my two boys it went smooth. The newborn will be doing a lot of sleeping the first month so it's not as stressful as it sounds. I would just keep my 2 year old (one at the time) busy whenever I'd feed or change the baby. Having patience is key! As long as you have patience everything will go fine!

My newborn is only a week and half old, and I have my daughter who will be one on the 20th of this month and so far it hasn't been too tough, when my newborn is sleeping I keep her in her pack and play which is in our living room and my other little one plays with her toys for the most part which is also in our living room..she's very gentle and nice with our newborn and at the same time she doesn't pay much attention to her when I'm holding the baby like she doesn't act jealous or cry to be held by me, she's pretty independent unless she wants a bottle for a nap or wants to eat. I'm also a stay at home mom so it's just my girls and I for most of the day while their dad is at work. So id say try to get a routine together it will help a lot.

I have a 2 month old AND a very very hyper 3 yr old (may 31). It was hard and still is but Aj was very jealous and would run off with Andrews binky and bottle. After the first two weeks getting adjusted to a new baby we would slowly have Aj help like give bubs his bink, diaper and wipes. Now that he's adjusted and got the hint that little brother wasn't going anywhere he started to involve himself. Bed sharing has saved my sanity lol Aj now loves taking baths with Andrew and will washed him. It's super fun and extremely cut seeing Aj interact with Andrew

just include him in tasks that involve the baby. diaper changes, feedings and bath time. I've got 3 at home and one on the way. it can be stressful but just remember to take one on one time with him so he doesn't feel left out
