the mucus plug can regrow. but you could be starting to lose some of it. mine comes out in pieces

honestly I just Google it. I started losing pieces of mine last month and it's kinda an off and on thing for me
but it mostly looks like snot from a really big sneeze, just brown, white, clear, or maybe even red/pink
