i m getting even closer to my c-section date, and I'm so nervous about it. Being cut open really scares me. I know it's what's best for my babies and everything will be fine. It just really scares me. Then after I have my twins and come home. I'll have 3 kids to care for. I'm really not sure if my husband will be home to help me. So the thought of my stitches ripping, makes me cringe. I wonder if I'll be able to breast feed them after having them as well. I've been lactating so I know that's not a problem. but I read that things with the breast change after having a c-section. It means the world to me to be able to breastfeed my babies.

@ftmommieoftwiinz, I was pretty nervous with my first born, but also in so much pain from contractions. I was so exhausted, I just wanted him out. I think every labor, is pretty nerve racking for everyone. I had to tell myself every woman goes through this. It's normal. the babies gotta come out at some point and everything will be perfectly fine. after having my son, I felt so relaxed. I was able to rest and hold my baby. Everyone took care of me and I didn't have to do much of anything but take care of my baby, eat and shower. I finally felt like my body could rest.

@ftmommieoftwiinz, thank you. the c-section is definitely planned. but with twins you never know if they want to come. Two weeks away. just right around the corner. but I'm sure your ready.

honestly I was too.. but I've been getting advice from ppl that have done it before whether its scheduled or emergency.. which I was told a scheduled c section was way better. everyone told me to make sure I get up and walk as soon as they let you..and to stay on top of your meds..and when you get out to make sure you take it easy and get a binder..I guess to help with the incision. don't worry. you'll do great. mine is in about 2 weeks for my twins.

@sarahemccormick, thank you . I'm happy to know everything will be fine and that'll I'll be able to breastfeed. it's definitely scary. but of course anything is worth it for our babies. I know my body will heal in time. I was wanting to buy a support belt online as well. Is there any you recommend?

@rhia, yea, thats what my friend was telling me. to make sure I walk as much as possible. I'm already a very active person. so sitting down too long would drive me crazy. I just figured if I'm up moving around too much I might rip the stitches.

I had a csection almost 3 months ago, and just like you, I was very scared of surgery. For me, it was an emergency section so I didn't have time to mentally prepare myself. I had a full bliwn.panic attack as I was being cut open in the OR. They had to medicate me because I was freaking out so bad. The pain was horrendous during the healing process. It was the worst experience ever. But you know what? I would do it all over again for my baby because he was worth every ounce of pain, every scared moment and every year I shed. I promise you will be okay. The best tip I can give you is to get up the next morning and walk as much as possible. Allow yourself time to rest but walk as much as possible. Sitting down and standing up are gonna hurt - bad. ask for a belly wrap in the hospital. They put compression on the wound. They help tremendously!!! I was walking myself from the 2nd floor where my room was, to the 3rd floor here my baby was in the NICU multiple times every day. Wearing that support band helped a lot. Also, I have had no problems exclusively breastfeeding my son.

I kust had a c section 2 months ago and also had one with my twins. It will be painful but to help with a faster easier recovery get up and walk whan they tell you to. When you go home make sure to move around.

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

After 3 days in hospital, multiple pessaries and examinations.. my induction has failed 😩.. so im now on a waiting list for a bed on labour ward to have my waters manually broken. Midwives just told me the Dr will be round in the morning to discuss my options. If given the option im really considering if its worth going down the elective section route now. Anyone recommend an elective section? The recovery is what scares me
