Anyone had a breast reduction and have any secrets to getting their bodies to make more milk? I'm doing literally everything my last resort is ordering Domperidone. Anyone try that?
Severe depression and/or possibility of tremors like Parkinson's. I want to try Domperidone but I've heard from other moms that it has made them either gain weight or have trouble losing weight. I was advised just to continue the herbal supplements im on and take goats rue because it helps the most for moms who breastfeed after a reduction. I'm too nervous to buy breast milk and I hate formula too but people are too crazy and I don't want them to do anything to his breastmilk.
I've been trying not to get too down but I'm so against formula, no judgment of course, it's just personal feeling. I breastfed my son for 26 mos and I feel horrible that I may not be able to give this baby the same start. I've looked into buying breastmilk, just not sure how I feel about it still. What would the reglan do?
@bianca_rose, I have moments where I get really down about it and days where it doesn't bother me. My dr won't prescribe reglan she just tells me to be happy I can make any. That statement boils my blood unfortunately, people don't understand how much it hurts not to be able to nourish your child.
I'm sorry to hear that...I'm expecting the same outcome, statistics aren't in our favor unfortunately 😔
I have been able to pump out about 5ml's at times 10ml's but that's total for both breasts. My soon was born premature so he doesn't breastfeed well yet so in stuck pumping and I'm getting so depressed.
Mother's milk tea. Lots of cold water and 3 meals a day. I produced decent enough but started producing like crazy when I started Thrive.
