Moms that've been induced? What can you tell me about it? Scheduling the induction next week & I'm pretty nervous.
I went in and they started pitocin at 7:15am I was in labor until 9:09pm when she was finally born. with my second (no pitocin with epidural) I went in at 11am and she was born at 3:14pm with my third (no pitocin no epidural) I went in at 5pm and she was born at 8:01but my water didn't break on its own so they broke it at 7:30am she would've been born sooner had my water broke or the midwife would have attempted to break it during a contraction the first time.
Stay clear.... U will do good..... The key thing is to listen and get some rest!!!... And start practicing your breathing technique now !!!@niyahsmommyy
Try to see if you can get cervidil it actually cause some people to not need the Pitocin it looks like a flat tampon I didn't get an epidural and I'm a big baby it's not that bad
@themommaoffour, How long were you in labor? I read something that said it can take two up to 2 days with induction 😳
@abeals04, No idea. I just started researching different ways, just to be informed but haven't really found anything too helpful.
pitocin was awful it hurt pretty bad , but I had preeclampsia so I was on other medications too so I couldn't get out of bed so I laid for 3 days but if I could've got up it would've been a lot easier.
pitocin induced contractions are way more intense than regular natural contractions. I labored longer with pitocin then without it.
@niyahsmommyy, it wasn't as bad as I expected. I wasn't uncomfortable until they broke my water and she started getting into my cervix. I got a low dose of iv meds which eased a little bit of the pain so I could stand up and go pee.
