So my son is 3 months old and he's going through a stage where he needs to be held alllll the time. Like I can't even get something to eat without him throwing a fit. And ideas how to get him to play by himself long enough for me to eat or clean up the house?

My son is 14 months tomorrow and we can hardly get him to eat solid foods on his own. We want to wean him off formula by 18 months and have been trying to get him to snack on small finger foods and he mainly just plays with it or throws it off his tray. Sometimes he will eat it if we give it to him but most of the time he shakes his head no. Any ideas or tips on how to get him more interested in eating? He will eat yogurt bites and cherrios on his own but that's about it.
