What's your views on smoking weed while breastfeeding ?

I don't think there's anything wrong with it. I use to smoke all the time before pregnancy and now my husband doesn't want me to smoke so I don't. but my sister did with 2 out of 3 of her kids and the only one that she didn't smoke with came out with asthma problems and has to have a breathing machine a few times a day and stuff , they say it makes the babys lungs stronger. if you don't smoke ALL the time there's nothing wrong with it. a couple hits is fine , just no blunts cuz or papers, i would use bowls cuz it's just the weed and not burnt paper and such. idek. but I wouldn't smoke while I was pregnant cuz they drug test when you have a baby so I don't want my baby taken

I smoke sometimes. I also smoked during the first part of my pregnancy for migraines because my ob wanted to prescribe me narcotics for every day use. My daughter is fine and hitting milestones like she should. Honestly if I smoke she doesn't act different. She sleeps the same, eats the same, plays the same. I don't recommend people smoke but it's what works for my migraines and I don't smoke all the time like I used to before pregnancy.

They say the only side effects is a sleepy baby but who knows what it does to their itty bitty brains.

I use to smoke before I was pregnant, regularly and stopped when I found out I was pregnant. I am now 6 months Pp and breast feeding and still haven't smoked. I just don't want to take any risks. I won't be breast feeding forever so I have plenty of time left to pick it back up again. I am obviously not against smoking what so ever because I use to love it lol but I can wait until I'm done breastfeeding just to be safe

My bfs mom smoked with him and he came out fine I personally don't smoke. I'm not sure of the science behind smoking weed and being pregnant but it doesn't sound like the smartest thing to do
