have anybody ever smoked weed while pregnant?

@mrscruz0530, You came on this post stating that you did your research and then you gave advice on how to smoke safely. I, myself, have done research on this as well and found nothing that shows that marijuana does not cause issues while being smoked during pregnancy. I nicely agreed with everything you said and asked you what information you found so as to educate myself. Nothing more.

@mrscruz0530, I really want to know what research you found on the effects of marijuana during pregnancy. There is no denying that marijuana is widely used to treat a multitude of issues. I would prefer smoking marijuana over taking prescription meds as well, if I needed to. Asking these girls, who disagree with smoking while pregnant, to do their research is interesting as there isn't any solid research done specifically surrounding pregnancy and marijuana. There simply isn't enough information to make an educated decision either way.

I definitely smoked in the beggining of both of my pregnancies, helped with the morning sickness so I was able to eat. & I did it off & on throughout my pregnancy until I reached a certain point. fuck these rude ass ppl. & like pp said do it a bowl or something but I would clean out ur system bc idk how it works if u give birth with it in ur system, just to be safe. but ur good mama no stress

well this escalated quickly lol some women are rude as fuck ! especially when it's women that have no knowledge I stopped because I wanted to but I wouldn't get all judgemental on someone who chooses to smoke some people just seem like they're just against weed so they'll say anything against it but do you research ladies!!!! and stop being so dam rude !!! I myself did tons of research on it and had even talked to my doctors about it . weed helps with numerous things and is quite beneficial I would prefer to do that over taking half of the prescribed man made shit that they give today which is far worse my only advice if your going to do it is do it cleanly no blunts or wraps lol

Well I smoked in the beginning. Then stopped after my 6 month I smoked again and now I have the urge to smoke again but I know that I'm to close to my due date I'm 30weeks now and I just don't want my baby to come early and I have to get those ppl in my life. Just limit yoself if you getting closer to yo due date

My take is this, there isn't enough research done on the effects of smoking marijuana while pregnant. There also isn't enough research done on the effects of alcohol (healthy vs unhealthy) amounts while pregnant. Not a single person can say that marijuana is better than Zofran, nor can they say it's worse. Hearing the fallback, "I did it and my baby is fine" is crap too. It makes their story part of a statistic that has off numbers. Nobody will admit they were doing an illegal drug which may have caused a birth defect but they sure as hell will with something prescribed to them. There is not enough research done on this to make and educated decision. Why risk it? If you aren't willing to take Zofran for morning sickness, why are you willing to smoke marijuana not knowing it's effects on the pregnancy?

Yikes you got some rude moms over here wow. I honestly don't think weed is all that bad while your pregnant. If I were you I would do it from a bowl though or like another mom on here said a vaporizer or eating it. Not like paper or a wrap. People eat McDonalds and worse crap while they pregnant but are quick to judge. Ultimately it's up to you and people shouldn't be so rude towards your dam ques. Sheesh it's not like you posted a pic of you smoking it or something. And I do agree prescription pills are WAY WORSE. good luck mama😌💞

I don't smoke anything.I take my prenatals and eat healthy, I love my son to death,and wouldn't change him for the world.but he went through 4 surgeries before the AGR of 2 and do not wanna see another baby go through that.

I didn't really have morning sickness, and I was all natural while pregnant no meds but my prenatal vitamins. I was just saying if I had to pick between weed and zofran lol than zofran. But yes I heard bad things about zofran from commercials. @ktwins188

Last month when I said something about smoking everyone was no where near as judgemental I actually got many positive replies. Looks like the people have changed lol DONT feel bad if you smoke, it's not bad like they are making it out to be. And weed is not a drug to the clueless person above.

I took prescription medication for depression anxiety and nausea with my first born,and he has a birth defect...so pardon me,but you judgmental hormonal "woman" need to get off your high horse,cuz you can be completely clean,with no drugs no prescriptions,nothing but prenatals and healthy diet,and still have a baby with a defect or something.seriously get over yourselves,not your circus,not your monkeys,shes pregnant and doeant need tgw negativity as im sure you understand.

Don't worry about all these judgmental moms and their posts. Marijuana el not harm your child. It's MUCH safer than any other over the counter drugs (especially ones for depression etc) look into Dr. Melanie Dreher and her study... The smoke inhalation can harm the child, so other methods (vaporizers) are better . But it's nothing like smoking a cigarette or drinking like these other moms said. don't let these girls judge you. since your 28 weeks I suggest you don't smoke again because it can take 30to 45 days if you smoke more it can take 60 days. and weed isn't unsafe I know so many ppl who smoked while pregnant and their baby came out without problems nd smart.

Smoke cuts off oxygen to the baby, causing them to be smaller. If you do choose to intake marijuana try edibles. Marijuana has never been found to hurt the baby, in some cases it has been found that babies develop better. I'm not saying it's good, just that if you choose to try other methods and small quantities.

Smoking period is unhealthy! Research for your safety while pregnant! I don't smoke and didn't even when I was pregnant. 9 months is the only time to go without smoking and drinking! Lol smh!

just at the beginning when I didn't know and like twice after finding out

all the time with my second pregnancy lol. helps my hormones stabilize and overall stress. I suffered from post pardum with my first pregnancy. so far with this one its been smooth sailing :)
